Our January meeting was great! Ross and Kathy Ashley arranged for Randy Batiste of the Texas Rehabilitation Commission to speak. Good information was given ... for use now or reference for need later. You decide what you can do and the TRC helps you do it. Minimum is 16 years of age, with no upper limit. Employment and independence is what TRC is all about. One of the phrases used was "transferable skills".., if you are no longer able to work at your current profession, what skills do you have that are transferable to another job?
