The 2000/2001 year has brought about many changes. First, thanks were given to Fiona Jackson, our outgoing President, for her pioneering work in establishing the BCAS.

We then welcomed our new executive headed by Shannon Connors. After much discussion it was agreed that the main focus of the society would be support and education. Funding and donations will be focused towards research.

At our October meeting we enjoyed a presentation given by Marcie Antonio, a Medical Supply Representative from Advanced Mobility. She demonstrated the many types of wheelchairs available and all their options. The meeting was …
