I am a 39-year-old female with Machado Joseph Disease. My symptoms are mild except for the severe foot cramps that can happen several times a day. The cramps distort my foot out of proportion which prevents me from walking. These cramps can sometimes last up to one hour and sometimes even longer. Is there any medication to help prevent this?
