RICHARD CABORN MP, Minister for Trade, will open the Southern Manufacturing exhibition at Thorpe Park, Surrey, from 28 February to 1 March.

Caborn will give an opening speech at 9.30am in the seminar theatre, focusing on the engineering industry, and discussing the regional alternatives resulting from the Government's manufacturing policy. New features for 2001 include a Fluid Power Technology Pavilion, Engineering Industries Association Members Pavilion, RSN-SE Supply Chain and Supplier Development Pavilion, Partnership for Profit Improvement Pavilion and British Gear Association Pavilion.
