Caliper Wins Patent Dispute.
The Superior Court of California for Santa Clara County has ruled in favor of Caliper Technologies Corp. (605 Fairchild Dr., Mountain View, CA 94043; Tel: 650/623-0700) in a patent enforceability lawsuit filed against Aclara Biosciences, Inc. (1288 Pear Ave., Mountain View, CA 94043; Tel: 650/210-1200). The court issued a ruling prohibiting Aclara from asserting the patent claims against Caliper.
