New NAF Executive Director.(National Ataxia Foundation)(Brief Article)
The National Ataxia Foundation is pleased to announce that Michael Parent has been recently hired as the Foundation's new Executive Director. Michael first became involved with the Foundation in 1982 as a consultant. In 1987 the Foundation hired him as the Director of Development.
Michael's 22 year involvement with the Foundation has made a lasting impression on him. "I have met many wonderful ataxia families over the years," said Michael. "Their struggle, courage, and commitment have inspired me to work even harder in the fight against ataxia."
