In 1949 or 1950, I seem to remember that the White Sox swept a three-game series against the Yankees in New York, winning all games by a shutout.
I think the White Sox pitchers were all left-handed, including Bill Wight, Billy Pierce and either Bob Cain or Bob Kuzava.
Could you confirm this?

Records do not indicate the White Sox shut out the Yankees in three straight games in either 1949 or 1950.
In 1949, Pierce and Cain did not post a shutout, while Wight had three and Kuzava, one.
