A cool thing about Pina Ferlisi, who is one of the most influential fashion designers in America today, is that she doesn't act like one of the most influential fashion designers in America today. There's no car with a driver, for example; she commutes to work on the train, with a lot of other people who, like her, are sometimes working on interoffice E-mails, sometimes reading historical novels.
