Yes, there are doctors who would recommend marijuana--it cannot be prescribed because it has not met any of the Food and Drug Administration criteria for a pharmaceutical drug--to their patients ("Praise for Decision in Medical Marijuana Case," Dec. 1, 2003, p. 34).
