Cirond this week announced the immediate availability of its new Winc 2.1 connectivity application. It is designed to help users of Microsoft Windows XP and Tablet PC-based wireless-enabled mobile computers find and connect to wireless networks.
Cirond said Winc 2.1 also allows users to create and manage a list of "preferred" wireless networks that automatically stores the settings required to connect to each network - and permits them to update those settings as needed.
