COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. _ They came to say goodbye to the man they called coach, to the man they called dad, to the man they called a friend, and to the man called the "father of Falcon football."
Hundreds of family and friends said goodbye Saturday to Ben Martin, Air Force's longtime football coach, the man who energized sidelines with his trademark blue hats, made them laugh with his dry sense of humor, and made them trust him with his deep sense of loyalty.
