Does it sound remotely possible that the Cavaliers are feeling better about themselves at the end of July than they were at the beginning of the month when they still had Carlos Boozer?
The answer, believe it or not, might be yes.
Before I get started, let me say that I think Boozer will be a nightly double-double player for about a decade. Regardless of what happened in the contract mess, he is a hard-working, blue-collar player who is a proven winner and an Olympian. The Cavaliers believe the same, despite what some officials might grunt under their breath when asked about him. No one is saying his loss isn't gaping.
