Nov. 15--HOMESTORE REPORTS THIRD QUARTER REVENUE: Homestore Inc. this week reported revenue of $63.8 million for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, which is down 3 percent from $65.9 million in the second quarter.
The $2.1 million decline was caused by a change in sales and fulfillment strategy of virtual tour products and a drop in online advertising revenue, the company said.
The Westlake Village real estate media and technology supplier (Nasdaq: HOMS) said the net loss for the quarter was $39.8 million, or 34 cents per share, compared to $52.3 million, or 44 cents per share, for the second quarter. Shares were up 15 cents to $1 Thursday, a 17.5 percent …
