CHICAGO _ Injuries have crippled the Packers at least as much as the Bears, yet the Bears are 3-8 and the Packers are 8-3.
Ten Bears starters have missed 39 games. Thirteen Packers starters have missed 47 games.
Both are desperate for left tackles, crucial to protecting the backside of their quarterbacks. The Bears are playing guard Mike Gandy and the Packers are playing center Mike Flanagan, both out of position at left tackle, after season-ending injuries to Marc Colombo and Chad Clifton.
Both teams have lost other starting offensive linemen for the season_Packers right tackle Mark Tauscher and Bears left guard Rex Tucker. Both teams have lost starting defensive linemen_Packers end Joe Johnson and Bears tackle Ted Washington.
