Jul. 27--Property values in Potter and Randall counties and all surrounding taxing entities increased during the last year, a sign of continued growth in the local economy, a report from the Potter-Randall Appraisal District shows.

The appraisal district issued its report Thursday listing 2003 appraised values for various local taxing entities.

Bushland Independent School District -- an area booming with new housing and plans for a new high school -- saw the highest percentage increase in values among local taxing entities -- a whopping 17.8 percent to $563 million. …
