Aug. 10--Margaret Long is angry and scared.
The resident of Colorado Springs' North End is scared of the West Nile virus, which has infected four people in El Paso County and might have killed two birds found on Long's Nevada Avenue lawn.
She's angry about how city and county officials are handling West Nile. "It's frustrating," the 82-year-old woman said Saturday.
Since last week, Long has been trying to figure out what to do with the magpie and sparrow that recently died on her lawn.
From the health department's West Nile hotline she gets a recording, where she's left messages.
