Kureha Chemical Industry is selling its high barrier clear film Besela overseas. Besela has received approval for food packaging material in the US and EU. The product can be used in place of retort food packaging with aluminum foil layer or cans and glass jars. It is made of PET and nylon films coated with acrylic resin that has high oxygen barrier properties. The product shuts out oxygen about ten times more effectively than EVOH. In …
