Aug. 4--PAIN FROM JOB LOSSES PERSISTS IN WICHITA: News from Boeing Co. that the aerospace giant plans to hire hundreds of engineers and production workers this year and next must feel like a gentle breeze on a blistering hot day for many Wichitans.
