Mar. 5--A Hall County judge has reversed a ruling that would have allowed Gwinnett County to discharge highly treated wastewater into Lake Lanier.
An earlier court decision, by Administrative Law Judge Jessie Altman, upheld a state permit allowing a new Gwinnett wastewater plant to discharge into Lanier. On Tuesday, Hall County Superior Court Judge John E. Girardeau ruled that Altman erred on two points. He ordered her to reconsider the case and make a new ruling consistent with his decision.
