Arcadia, Cal.-Based Supermarket Operator Vons Seeks Tenants for Property.

Mar. 27--LA VERNE, Calif.--Arcadia-based The Vons Cos. Inc. still hasn't finalized its plans for the space at 1600 Foothill Blvd., but the company is seeking additional tenants to fill the building vacated last year by Kmart.

Vons paid Kmart $2.2 million last July to assume the lease on the property, which runs through June 2007. The lease has nine five-year options that could extend it until 2052.

Herb Andrews of Northwest Atlantic Real Estate Services in Orange County, who handles leasing for Vons, said the building would still have significant space available after a supermarket was built, and that Vons was "seeking …
