Sep. 17--CHUCK GOES FOR BIG BUCKS: Is the world ready for Ten- or Twelve-Buck Chuck?

Cameron Hughes thinks so, and he's willing to put his name on it.

Two-Buck Chuck is the nickname for Bronco Wine Co.'s fabulously successful Charles Shaw brand. Introduced two years ago, it sells for just under $2 in Trader Joe's stores. Consumers decided it was a bargain, and Bronco has sold 10 million cases of it.

Hughes isn't aiming for those kind of numbers, but he thinks he can deliver a similar bargain at a higher price.
