Las Vegas Rescue Mission officials announced Wednesday they would resume their evening meal service for the homeless this weekend.
The Rescue Mission about two weeks ago suspended the evening meal for homeless and low-income people who aren't enrolled in its programs.
The meal reduction was intended to discourage the homeless from camping behind the charity, along Wilson Avenue, where debris and human waste have become a public health concern.
