Mar. 30--In an ongoing shake-up at law firm Steel Hector & Davis, well-known attorney Joseph P. Klock Jr. has been removed as chairman of the firm that was once widely considered Florida's best but recently has been plagued by lawyer defections.
Last week the firm's partners declined to reelect Klock to its eight-person executive committee, thereby removing the attorney -- who became nationally famous in the landmark election legal battle, Bush v. Gore -- as chairman.
