Manetti's, the Italian restaurant on the second floor of the Plaza, 1 Main St., adjacent to the Center Stage Restaurant, boasts recipes from the owner and some of his friends.

Normally, that wouldn't be a big deal. But it's a different story when the owner is Larry Manetti, co-star of "Magnum, P.I.," and his friends include the likes of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Joe Pesci and Dennis Farina.

A lot of stars have gone into the restaurant business, but Manetti was in the restaurant business before he starred in television and movies.
