Robert Mills hit a three-run homer in the fourth inning to break a 3-3 tie and lead Cheyenne to a 10-5 victory over visiting Chaparral on Tuesday.

Evon Buhecker was 4-for-4 with two RBIs and Bryce Thurston was 3-for-4 with two RBIs for the Desert Shields. Thurston struck out 10 in 6 1/3 innings to get the win.

Kirby Okuda was 3-for-4 to lead the Cowboys.

Sierra Vista 9, Foothill 7 -- At Sierra Vista, Scott Berke and Chris Carter each had two hits, including a three-run homer, to lead the Lions over the Falcons....
