Mar. 27--The two-mile wall that separates Fort Lauderdale's beach from State Road A1A got a recent face-lift to enhance the glow of its pastel lights.
A partnership between a community redevelopment agency and private businesses raised $400,000 to replace the fiber-optic, color-changing lights, which have been part of the wall since 1993.
