Mar. 25--It's not your imagination: Subway delays are up this year.
The latest numbers show that delays increased nearly 5 percent in January over the same month last year, as riders were bedeviled by faulty signals and switches, garbage on the tracks and other woes -- 6,294 times.
And those Transit Authority statistics, obtained by the Daily News, predate this month's rash of rush-hour turmoil that saw four major delays...
