Mar. 28--Queens city Councilman Eric Gioia is making a habit of making improvements to his grade school alma mater.
When he attended Public School 11 in Woodside in the late '70s and early '80s, Gioia (D-Sunnyside) saw that the school was overcrowded -- and made up his mind to do something about it.
