Mar. 28--Russell Barrow, the longtime board chairman of Marcus Garvey Nursing Home, has resigned his position, the first casualty of investigations into the 295-bed Brooklyn facility run by his former lover, Ruby Weston.
Barrow's attorney, Roger Adler, said his client's decision was prompted by Attorney General Eliot Spitzer's ongoing probe of financial and management irregularities at the taxpayer-supported homes, as well as continuing media coverage.
