Mar. 28--On a Saturday earlier this month, Chase invited more than 130 people to its first-ever open house for personal bankers.
The job fair attracted the usual suspects from rival banks, but also some atypical applicants, from areas as wide ranging as car dealerships to fashion designers and wireless phone companies.
While many of the job-seekers cited Chase's size, customer base, and the chance to build a career as draws, several said a revamped pay system caught their eye.
