Mar. 28--Nearly a year after a home developer began selling lots on the western shore of Mountain Creek Lake, weeds sprout on empty dirt.
Concrete streets remain pristine, void of minivans toting kids to soccer games or moms and dads on their way to work. Streetlights light the way for no one.
The Villas of Bella Vista is the neighborhood that almost was but now may never be, because the city of Dallas filed suit in December, halting the project as builder Beazer Homes Texas L.P. was ready to begin constructing homes.
