Mar. 25--The Miami City Commission agreed Thursday to pay former Mayor Joe Carollo's legal team $600,000 in costs stemming from Carollo's late-1990s court battles to keep his mayoralty.
Carollo's near-constant fight to save his job was a hallmark of a period now remembered as one of the most tumultuous that Miami City Hall has ever known.
