Mar. 25--While RadioShack Corp. believes it won back the legal rights to its brand name in Canada, Friday morning rival Circuit City Stores Inc. said it will appeal a court's ruling that the Fort Worth-based chain called a win.

RadioShack said Thursday that the court ruled it can terminate agreements with its former international subsidiary, Canada-based InterTan.

InterTan, which operates 980 RadioShack-licensed stores in Canada, was acquired last year by No. 2 U.S. electronics chain Circuit...
