Mar. 24--The North Miami Beach City Council passed a pro-annexation resolution unanimously, despite vocal objections from a majority of the neighborhood residents in attendance.
The city will now begin negotiations with Miami-Dade county on a plan to transfer public services for the neighborhood. If the city and county reach an agreement, Doughnut Hole residents will vote on whether or not to join the city that completely surrounds...
