Helmets mean a lot to the modern-day, off-road rider. The first and most obvious reason is the protection a helmet offers. Second, helmets give a person identity and, depending on how far someone wants to go, they can be customized to the fullest extreme. Third, helmets make riders feel comfortable because they know their head is safe and free of danger. Finally, helmets can even be bought to match someone's racing team colors or plastic and graphics. Consumers buy helmets for all of the aforementioned reasons, but they also buy them based on price. We tested three hot helmets, of different price levels, over the last few months. Here are our findings.
