From fliers that feature uniformed Hispanics to TV ads on Spanish-language networks, the Air Force is doing all it can to recruit young Latinos and Latinas into its ranks.
It's an effort that Secretary of the Air Force James Roche found pressing enough to leave the National Security Conference in Colorado to address in Las Vegas on Thursday.
Roche was at Bally's at an annual conference of National Image Inc., a nonprofit organization of government employees focused on improving education, employment and equal opportunities for Hispanics.
