State transportation officials hope to make two west valley intersections, one of which is considered by some to be the most dangerous in the state, a little safer.
The Nevada Department of Transportation plans to construct medians to restrict left turns from driveways on Sahara Avenue just west of Decatur and Rainbow boulevards. The modifications will eliminate dangerous broadside crashes that frequently occur at those locations, officials said.
