Mar. 14--JAMESBURG -- Using "ideas that have no other practical application," Spotswood resident Russel Like crafted and published two science fiction novels, both with local roots.
The Jamesburg Historical Association invited the author for a discussion yesterday of his novels and a book signing at Lakeview, the home of borough founder James Buckelew.
His first novel, "After the Blue," takes place in Jamesburg 100 years in the future, with aliens trying to teach humans how to live in society as they interpret it through pop culture.
