Companies often rent 1800 numbers for a couple of months after a recall is announced. If the number given is no longer operating, phone the manufacturer or retailer direct.
THE PRODUCT: GlaxoSmithKline has recalled Children's Panadol Original Easy Dose Baby Drops, AUST R83362, all batches; and Children's Panadol 1 month--2 years Colourfree Easy Dose Baby Drops AUST R83363, all batches.
The problem: If used incorrectly, the plastic neck insert may dislodge and attach itself to the end of the syringe, posing a choking hazard.
What to do: Return it to the place of purchase for a refund or call 1800 028 533 for more information.
THE PRODUCT: Fisher-Price has recalled Sparkling Symphony mobile, manufactured from October 1999 to November 2000 and available from December 1999 to December 2001 for around $65.
