Mar. 1--A one-story brick office complex that went up in 1983 in Aberdeen is now coming down.

Demolition of the multi-wing Professional Arts Building, 301 Eighth Ave. N.W., began Monday. The 11,011- square-foot building is owned by Professional Arts Partnership.

No information was available Monday as to the owners' plans for the property, though sources have previously told the American News that the building would be razed to make way for an expansion of the adjacent Vision Care Associates.

A spokeswoman at Vision Care Associates, 310 Professional Arts Plaza immediately north of the Professional Arts Building, said optometrist James Olson of Vision Care ...
