Feb. 28--Developers hope to turn up the heat in the Bronx's hottest shopping district with a huge makeover of one of the most recognizable buildings on the Fordham Road corridor.
The building at 400 E. Fordham Road, currently anchored by a Sears store, is set to be expanded, perhaps made taller, and sheathed in plate glass.
