Feb. 26--Ticket prices are up sharply for this weekend's South Beach Wine & Food Festival, and so is the cost of putting on the sold-out charity event.
Expenses for the pricey, three-day tasting show are expected to surge nearly 30 percent to $2.3 million from $1.8 million a year ago, according to budget figures provided by Florida International University, the show's organizer.
