Feb. 28--The parent company of Temecula biotechnology firm Chemicon International Inc. has acquired the assets of a New Jersey company to expand Chemicon's stem cell business.
Serologicals Corp. in Atlanta paid $6.7 million in cash for the assets of Specialty Media, a division of Cell & Molecular Technologies owned by Sentigen Holding Corp., a Feb. 22 release said. Specialty Media is located in Phillipsburg, N.J., and develops and supplies stem cell culture media...
