Feb. 28--UKROP'S UNDERTAKING UNUSUAL RENOVATION: Ukrop's Super Markets Inc. begins a major renovation of its store in the Chesterfield Crossing shopping center off Midlothian Turnpike next month or in April.
But the remodeling at the store across from Chesterfield Towne Center will be most unusual. It will take about 1 1/2 years to complete. And it will take that long largely because the Richmond-based grocery chain is doing more than just cosmetic changes.
