Feb. 28--D.C. BUILDER SET SIGHTS ON PORT ST. LUCIE: Another major developer is eyeing Port St. Lucie, pitching itself to local officials and looking to jump on projects in the booming city.
Washington, D.C.-based Republic Properties Corp. wrote to Greg Oravec, the city's Community Redevelopment Agency director, earlier this month outlining the developer's experience and asking to be considered for any projects in the area.
