Stocks Finish Week On High Note
1The Nasdaq started Friday weak, but rebounded to end up 0.7% in lower volume. The small-cap S&P 600 climbed 1.6%. The Dow and S&P 500 both rose 0.9% to 2005 closing highs as NYSE trade was up slightly. Chips, transports, home builders, steel makers and oil companies led the way. For the week, the Dow rose 0.5%, the S&P 500 0.8% and the Nasdaq 0.3%. More on this page, B6
