LAWRENCE, Kan. _ The hill kept getting steeper, searing lungs, draining legs, producing sweat enough to fill a valley, and now just 10 seconds remained in Sunday's clash between Kansas and Oklahoma State.
The Jayhawks, ranked No. 8, were trying to rid themselves of an ugly three-game losing streak. The Cowboys, ranked No. 4, were trying to escape the stench of their lackluster loss Tuesday to Nebraska.
