PHILADELPHIA _ Meetings this week in New York and Toronto figure to shape the events that will unfold in the coming months for the National Hockey League.
On Monday, players will begin arriving in Toronto for a meeting on Tuesday with Bob Goodenow, executive director of the NHL Players' Association. At least 150 players, including each club's player representative, are expected to attend. Monday night, they will gather in downtown Toronto for dinner.
