PHILADELPHIA _ Allen Iverson knows exactly what the 76ers need to do to quickly get Chris Webber and their other new players on the same page and ready for the stretch run.
"I was anxious just to get to practice and try to get things done," he said Sunday.
Practice?
Iverson smiled.
"Yeah, I'm anxious to come to practice," he said. "And that let me know that my career is definitely turning for the better."
Iverson's aversion to practice, particularly during Larry Brown's years as the Sixers' coach, is legendary. But the soon-to-be 30-year-old team captain realizes that the Sixers must move swiftly to familiarize the newly acquired Webber, Rodney Rogers, Matt Barnes and Michael Bradley with their offensive and defensive systems....
