SURPRISE, Ariz. _ This could only happen to the Rangers. They finally have a young, home-grown arm in camp that is ready for the major leagues. It's the rest of the package that seems to be the problem.
The Rangers are not shy when it comes to praising Juan Dominguez's attributes. They are numerous. He is only 23. He is fearless. His fastball is above average; his changeup is better than his fastball. He's beaten the New York Yankees in Yankee Stadium _ and looked downright dominant in the process.
So how come he's on the fringes of the battle for the Rangers' rotation this spring?
